Here we are in France. We’ve set the satnav to avoid tolls so it’s the slow road to each next destination.\u00a0 Banks of wild daffodils, primrose and cowslips have slipped past as\u00a0 we trundle through towns and villages filled with typical french style.
There’s a great sense of things missed as we drive along. A petit chateau in ruins, a charming village scene, an intriguing land mark, they all go in the unwritten list of forgotten places to return to.
Meanwhile life in the van is a bit chilly at night and we wake up with cold noses.\u00a0 It seems there’s been a misunderstanding. Mumbling and deafness are blamed.\u00a0 There is no chicken in the little freezer compartment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n
